| 1. I've done this before with a power invertor that i got from my local auto parts store, make sure that if you do this you get a good enough power invertor, check out radioshack |
| 2. Yep all you need is a power inverter...idk the specs of the home system but just make sure you get a good power inverter...you can get then at places like radio shack..even at walmart |
| 3. It is possible but very not recommended. The home audio equipment is made for the home not the car. It may not stand up to the heat, dust, dirt, vibration, cold and other environmental variables that occur in the car. I see your trying to save money, i guess, but now you wont have an amp for you house anymore either, once you put it in the car. It WILL get ruined. Trust me. I ran a Car Audio shop for many years. And I saw many DIY's doing this exact thing. The outcome was never good. |
